RP Optical Lab’s LRC3Z is a continuous zoom thermal camera engineered for long-range surveillance and tracking in both mobile and fixed installations. Equipped with a high-resolution InSb 640×512, 15μm pitch focal plane array, LRC3Z operates in the 3-5μm waveband, delivering exceptional image quality in challenging environments.
Designed for versatility, the LRC3Z features RP’s compact 330mm F/4 & 435mm F/5.5 continuous zoom lens, protected by a DLC-coated front window for enhanced durability. It is available in a rugged, environmentally sealed enclosure—backfilled with dry nitrogen—or in an “open frame” configuration without an enclosure, power supply, or front window, offering flexibility for system integration.
