RP Optical Lab unique LANTIS SYSTEM- A super high accuracy FOG stabilized pedestal, carrying an Elctro Optical payload for long range surveillance & tracking ready for harsh environments.

The LANTIS integrates easily with main systems to accurately:
• Acquire and track inbound targets
• Predict target’s future position
• Slew main system modules to the correct position

The EO payload combines thermal cameras with different options of thermal zoom lenses, day modules and optionally Laser Range Finder  (LRF) module all providing exceptional performance designed to meet the user’s needs.

The standard system is comprised of the following modules:

• Thermal / CCD Electro-Optical Payload
• FOG stabilized 2 Axis pedestal
• Pedestal Electronic control unit (PDST)
Control and tracking console modules:
• Main Electronic Distribution and control Unit (MDU)
